Hey, I’m Shayna. I have a passion to educate and inspire others to achieve greatness through their health and fitness aspirations. I truly believe that I have what it takes to help you achieve any goal! There are a few things I’ll share with you before I gain your trust and we proceed.

I am a simple small town girl who loves the outdoors and is obsessed with chasing new adventures. Growing up, I always knew that my small town wasn’t big enough for my dreams. I had goals to travel the world and help people any way that I could. I wanted to find a career that would allow me to do both. I try to live my life in complete balance and believe this is the “magic pill” to achieving complete success. Not too much work and not too much play. This means that all components of your life should be working in harmony.

Simple modifications = big changes

I began my journey of helping people by earning my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UNLV. Go Rebels! From there, I was on track to pursue my doctorate in Physical Therapy, but decided that it wasn’t for me. I needed to dip into the realm of fitness first. Something was telling me to explore this first; I guess they call that your gut. And, let’s be honest, grad school is too expensive to not be certain or happy about your career choice. After graduation, I earned my ACSM-CPT, NASM-CPT, Precision Nutrition, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective exercise specialist certifications and have not stopped learning since.

I started training at a small local gym to get me started, but I needed more. I wanted to grow more than this small spot could offer. So it was time to cross over into the corporate gym setting. I was ready to take my fitness career to the next level; to grow as a person and a professional. I dove head first into the overwhelming amounts of education they provided. I specialized in blood panels and metabolic testing to enhance my understanding of how the human body adapts and changes through exercise. All of these tools that I added to my toolbox all contributed to one goal… to get my clients results efficiently, educate them and allow them the opportunity to become the best version of themselves. After years of working for “the man”, I finally felt confident enough to take a leap of faith and branch out on my own. This is how Vita Solutions was created.

I’d like to share my experiences, knowledge and struggles with you. I have grown to understand that it’s more than just sweating in the gym. Sooooo many factors play a role. Hopefully through my stories, resources, and support I’ll achieve my ultimate goal and true passion…inspire others to become their best self each day.
